Creamware

A type of refined earthenware developed in England in the mid-18th century, characterized by its pale cream color and smooth, often translucent lead glaze. It was made from white-firing clays mixed with flint and kaolin, fired at relatively high temperatures for earthenware. Creamware was a popular and affordable alternative to porcelain, widely produced by potters like Josiah Wedgwood.
