Diamond crossing

A track arrangement where two railway lines intersect at grade, allowing trains to cross each other's path without the need for switches. This configuration consists of four frogs and connecting rails, forming a diamond shape. Diamond crossings are used when two lines must cross but do not require trains to switch from one line to the other.
