Dynamic IP address

An Internet Protocol address that is temporarily assigned to a device by a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server when it connects to a network. These addresses are not permanent and can change over time. This contrasts with static IP addresses, which remain fixed for a device.
