An Engine Management Unit is an electronic control unit that governs an internal combustion engine's performance by controlling fuel injection, ignition timing, and other operating parameters. It receives data from sensors throughout the engine and adjusts outputs to maintain efficient and reliable operation. Modern EMUs often incorporate diagnostic capabilities.
