Farmee

The party that acquires a working interest in an oil, gas, or mineral lease from another party, known as the farmor, in exchange for fulfilling specific obligations. These obligations typically involve drilling one or more wells or performing other exploration work on the property at the farmee's own expense. A farmout agreement specifies the exact conditions, such as drilling depth and timeframe, that the farmee must meet to earn its interest.
