Rig

The integrated set of machinery and structures used for drilling or servicing wells, such as for oil, gas, or water. A drilling rig includes the derrick or mast, engines, mud pumps, draw-works, and rotating equipment for turning the drill string. Rigs are classified by their power source, pipe handling capabilities, and mobility, such as land-based or offshore platform types.
