Felled seam

A strong and durable seam construction where the raw edges of the fabric are enclosed within the seam allowance, preventing fraying. One edge is trimmed, the other is folded over it, and then both are stitched down flat against the fabric. This type of seam is commonly found in denim garments like jeans and workwear.
