Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004087

A specialized type of sewing machine, also known as a serger or overlocker, that joins fabric pieces while simultaneously finishing the raw edge. Industrial overseamers operate at high speeds and use between three and five threads to form the characteristic interlocking stitch pattern.
