Overlock

A type of stitch formed by looping threads over the edge of fabric to create a seam that prevents fraying and provides a neat finish. This stitch is created by an overlock sewing machine, which uses multiple threads to simultaneously sew, trim, and encase the fabric edge. It is frequently used for knit fabrics and garment construction.
