An abbreviation for Gross Combined Weight Rating, which represents the maximum permissible total weight of a fully loaded tow vehicle and its attached trailer. This rating is determined by the vehicle manufacturer and includes the weight of the vehicle, its occupants, cargo, and the entire loaded trailer. Exceeding the GCWR can compromise braking performance and vehicle stability.
