Grassmann's law
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-002634
A psychophysical law in colorimetry stating that the perceived color of a light mixture depends only on the spectral power distribution of the mixture, not on the individual components that formed it. This principle implies that any color can be matched by a mixture of three primary colors. It forms a foundational concept for additive color mixing models.
