Holophotal

Relating to an optical system designed to collect and project nearly all emitted light from a source into a concentrated, parallel beam. This is achieved through a combination of lenses and mirrors, such as a parabolic reflector with a central lens. Holophotal systems are commonly used in lighthouses and searchlights to maximize light efficiency and range.
