Jufti knot
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003143
A type of knot used in rug weaving, also known as a false knot, where the yarn is wrapped around four warp threads instead of the traditional two. This technique results in a looser, less dense pile compared to single-warp knots like the Ghiordes or Senneh. Jufti knots are sometimes employed to speed up the weaving process.
