Ladle

A large, refractory-lined vessel used to transport and pour molten metal in foundries and steel mills. Ladles are designed to withstand high temperatures and contain the molten material safely during transfer from furnaces to molds or casting machines. They come in different capacities, from small hand-held types to large industrial vessels holding hundreds of tons.
