Maundril
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003564
A type of miner's pick, typically one with a point at each end of the head, used for breaking hard rock and ore. The tool was designed for hewing hard ground where a single-pointed pick might be less effective. Its dual-pointed construction allowed the user to continue working with the other point if one became blunt or broken.
