Microsecond

A unit of time measurement equal to one millionth of a second, or 10⁻⁶ seconds. It is used to quantify events of very short duration in fields like electronics, computing, and physics, such as the execution time of a computer instruction or the duration of a laser pulse. A standard camera flash, for instance, has a duration of approximately 1,000 microseconds, which is equivalent to one millisecond.
