Mullocker

A mine worker whose job is to clear and transport mullock, the non-valuable waste rock that is broken during mining operations. This individual loads the broken rock into ore carts or other transport systems to remove it from the working area, either for disposal on a waste heap or for use as backfill in mined-out stopes. The term originated in Australian and Cornish mining terminology.
