Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004477

A thermal process applied to electronic components or printed circuit boards before soldering or assembly. This process removes moisture absorbed from the atmosphere, preventing defects such as delamination, popcorn cracking, or voiding during subsequent high-temperature operations.
