Printed Wiring Board: A board used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive pathways, tracks, or signal traces etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate. Components are soldered onto the PWB, forming an operational electronic circuit. These boards are manufactured according to standards such as IPC-2221.
