Silvopasture
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-007244
An agroforestry practice that deliberately integrates trees, forage plants, and livestock into a single management system on the same parcel of land. Trees provide timber or other forest products, while also offering shade and shelter for the animals grazing on the understory forage. This integrated approach contrasts with conventional forestry or open-pasture grazing by combining elements of both.
