Single-ply roof

A roofing system constructed using a single layer of flexible, synthetic membrane material, such as EPDM, TPO, or PVC, rather than multiple layers of asphalt and felt. This type of roof is commonly found on commercial and industrial buildings with low-slope or flat designs. Installation methods include mechanical fastening, full adhesion, or ballasting with aggregate.
