Squeeze

The gradual closure or reduction in size of a mine working due to pressure from the surrounding rock mass. This ground movement can be caused by overburden weight, tectonic forces, or swelling ground conditions. Squeeze requires careful monitoring and support to maintain access and prevent collapse.
