To inadvertently transmit on a radio frequency already in use by another station, causing interference or blocking the ongoing communication. This occurs when two or more transceivers transmit simultaneously on the same channel. The result is often garbled audio or a complete loss of the original transmission, requiring one party to cease transmitting.
