Time-delay relay

An electrical relay designed to intentionally delay its operation for a specified period after its coil is energized or de-energized. These relays are used in control circuits to sequence operations, provide motor protection, or allow components to stabilize. Common types include on-delay, off-delay, and interval timers, with adjustable delay ranges from milliseconds to hours.
