Traffic jam

A condition on a road or highway characterized by slow-moving or stationary vehicles, resulting from a volume of traffic that exceeds the road's capacity. This congestion leads to delays, increased fuel consumption, and driver frustration. Traffic jams are often caused by accidents, road construction, or peak hour commuting.
