"Describing an optical lens, typically for eyeglasses, that incorporates three distinct focal powers to provide clear vision at three different distances: near, intermediate, and far. They are prescribed to individuals with presbyopia who require correction for multiple viewing ranges.",
"Eyeglasses equipped with trifocal lenses, which provide three distinct focal points for distance, intermediate, and near vision. These lenses are designed to correct presbyopia, an age-related condition where the eye's natural lens loses its ability to focus on close objects. The different viewing zones are typically separated by visible lines on the lens surface."
