Valley board

A timber board installed along the line where two roof slopes meet to form an internal angle, known as a valley. This board provides a solid backing for the valley flashing and the cut roof tiles or slates, creating a watertight junction. It is typically fixed to the valley rafters and forms part of the roof's structural framework.
