Open valley

A roofing valley design where the roofing materials on adjacent slopes are trimmed back from the centerline of the valley, exposing the underlying flashing material. This configuration allows for efficient water runoff and simplifies debris removal. The exposed flashing is typically metal, such as copper or aluminum.
