Combined single limits

Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-000824

A single dollar amount representing the maximum an insurer will pay for all damages resulting from a single accident, regardless of the number of people injured or the amount of property damaged. This contrasts with split limits, which specify separate maximums for bodily injury per person, bodily injury per accident, and property damage. A common combined single limit might be $1,000,000.
