Employee pension benefit plans

Retirement programs established by employers to provide income to employees after their working years. These plans can be defined benefit plans, which promise a specific payout, or defined contribution plans, where contributions are specified but the final payout depends on investment performance. They are regulated by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
