Notary claim exclusion

Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-002367

A provision in an insurance policy, often in professional liability or errors and omissions coverage, that specifically denies coverage for claims arising from the insured's actions as a notary public. If an insured performs notary services, they would need separate coverage, such as a notary bond or a specific endorsement, to be protected against claims related to those duties. This exclusion limits the scope of the primary policy.
