Physical-mental injuries

Injuries that involve both bodily harm and psychological or emotional distress, where the mental component is directly caused by or exacerbated by the physical injury. This often arises in workers' compensation claims or personal injury lawsuits, where the psychological impact of a physical trauma is considered part of the overall damage. Assessing these injuries requires evaluation of both physical and psychological symptoms.
