Scheduled loss

A type of permanent partial disability benefit paid for the loss or loss of use of a specific body part, such as an arm, leg, or eye. State workers' compensation laws typically provide a schedule that assigns a fixed number of weeks of benefits for each type of scheduled injury. The amount of compensation is predetermined, regardless of actual wage loss.
