Actionable

Describing conduct or circumstances that provide sufficient legal grounds for a lawsuit. For a claim to be actionable, the plaintiff must demonstrate that they have suffered a recognizable harm or injury for which the law offers a remedy, and that the defendant's actions were the cause. For example, a defamatory statement is actionable only if it is false, published to a third party, and causes damage to the subject's reputation.
