Agreed statement of facts

A written document submitted jointly by opposing parties in a legal proceeding that sets out all the material facts upon which they are in agreement. This submission narrows the dispute to questions of law, as the court is not required to make factual determinations for the matters stipulated. The statement is filed with the court and becomes part of the official record for trial or appeal.
