Automated license plate reader

A high-speed camera system that automatically captures images of license plates and converts them into computer-readable data. This technology allows law enforcement to compare plate numbers against databases of vehicles of interest, such as those associated with Amber Alerts or outstanding warrants. The data collected often includes the date, time, and GPS coordinates of each scan.
