Autopsy rights

The legal entitlements of next of kin or other designated individuals regarding the performance of a post-mortem examination on a deceased person. These rights include the ability to consent to or refuse an autopsy, and to receive information about its findings. State laws and religious beliefs often influence the exercise of these rights.
