Contumacy

Willful disobedience or contempt of a court order, subpoena, or other lawful authority, often manifested by a refusal to appear, answer questions, or comply with judicial directives. This conduct can result in sanctions, such as fines or imprisonment, for contempt of court. It represents a deliberate defiance of the judicial process.
