Contempt of court, direct

An act of contempt committed in the immediate presence of the court or so near as to interrupt its proceedings. This includes disruptive behavior, insulting the judge, or refusing to answer questions while on the witness stand. The court can summarily punish direct contempt without a separate hearing.
