Credit score

A numerical representation of a person's creditworthiness, derived from a statistical analysis of their credit history. Lenders use this three-digit number to assess the risk of lending money to a consumer and to determine loan terms and interest rates. The most widely used credit scores in the United States are FICO scores, which range from 300 to 850.
