Criminal conversation tort

A common law tort action that allowed a spouse to sue a third party for engaging in sexual intercourse with their husband or wife. This tort focused on the invasion of the marital relationship and the loss of consortium. While largely abolished in many jurisdictions, a few states still recognize it.
