Domestic corporation

A corporation organized under the laws of the state in question, whatever the location of its offices or principal operations. A Delaware corporation headquartered in California is domestic in Delaware and foreign in California. A domestic corporation needs no registration to do business in its home state, while a foreign corporation must usually register in each other state where it operates.
