Extradite

To surrender an individual accused or convicted of a crime by one sovereign state or jurisdiction to another for prosecution or punishment. The process is governed by treaties or statutes that specify the offenses for which extradition is available and the procedures to be followed. A formal request is made by the requesting state, followed by a legal hearing in the requested state to determine the validity of the request.
