An intentional misrepresentation or concealment of a material fact made to induce another party to act to their detriment. It involves deceit, trickery, or breach of confidence for personal gain or to cause loss to another. To establish fraud, elements such as a false representation, knowledge of falsity, intent to deceive, reliance by the victim, and resulting damages must be proven.
