Irrevocable trust

A trust that cannot be modified, amended, or terminated by the grantor after its creation without the consent of the beneficiary. The grantor relinquishes control over the assets placed into the trust, which are then managed by a trustee for the benefit of the designated beneficiaries. This type of trust is often used for estate planning, asset protection, and tax minimization.
