Joint adventure

A contractual association between two or more persons or entities to undertake a specific business enterprise for profit, where they share control and profits or losses. This differs from a partnership in that it is typically limited to a single undertaking rather than a continuing business. The legal principles governing joint adventures are similar to those for partnerships.
