Likelihood of confusion

The legal standard used to determine whether one party's use of a trademark infringes upon another's existing trademark rights. Courts assess several factors, including the similarity of the marks, the similarity of the goods or services, and the marketing channels used. A finding of likelihood of confusion can lead to an injunction preventing the infringing use.
