Noncontiguous

Describing areas of land or legal jurisdictions that are not physically touching or sharing a common border. This concept applies when a single entity, such as a municipality or a property owner, holds separate parcels of land that are geographically distinct. For example, a school district may encompass several noncontiguous attendance zones.
