Nuisance fees

Small, often unexpected charges or penalties imposed by financial institutions or service providers that are perceived as unfair or unnecessary. These fees can accumulate and significantly increase the cost of a service or product. Examples include overdraft fees, late payment charges, or fees for balance inquiries.
