Public nuisance

An act or condition that unreasonably interferes with the health, safety, peace, comfort, or convenience of the general public. This type of nuisance affects a community or a considerable number of people, rather than just a single individual. Examples include pollution, excessive noise, or illegal dumping, which can be abated through government action or civil lawsuits.
